Introduced in the Paris Salon in October 1992, the Ferrari 456 has the heavy task to replace the angular 412 that ended production three years earlier. Immediately acclaimed by the public, the magnificent 2+2 coupe from the prancing horse benefit from a powerful V12 (the most powerful of the brand at the time) and a quality that made it enter the competition with Porsche, Bentley or even Aston Martin.
In 1999, 7 years after the introduction of the car, the Modena brand unveiled the 456 GT M, ultimate evolution of the recipe for success. Benefiting from a subtle but elegant redesign, the car will have an important update in terms of handling by adopting electronically controlled suspensions and brakes to adapt better to road conditions. A technical achievement from the Italian brand.
This specific 456 GT M, one of the 688 to benefit from a manual gearbox was delivered new in Germany by Maranello Motors in Köln on the 16th of April 2003. It will stay in the same collection for the next 10 years, covering only 380km before being sold. Entirely serviced in 2016, the car was acquired by the current owner in Belgium via Bonhams in 2017.
Since, this magnificent 456 GT M was serviced by Gipimotor with, but not limited to, a complete service (belts included) and the treatment of the « sticky buttons ». Like new, this superb Italian V12 is a fantastic example of what was the ultimate version of the timeless Ferrari 456 !
