Built from 2006 to 2012, the Ferrari 599 GTB followed the tradition of front-engine, V12 cars from Ferrari. Even though it was known for its “F1” gearbox, this model was the last one to propose a manual gearbox. Only 30 cars were equipped with this transmission, making these rarer than any other cars of its time.
Replacing the Ferrari 575 and benefiting from the technology transfer from the F1 program, the 599 received the same V12 as the Enzo and used an aluminum space frame to gain weight. Improved electronics derived from F1 like F1 traction control also made their appearance on that car and it was finely tuned by none other than Formula One legend, Michael Schumacher.
This particular car, delivered new in Belgium in 2009, is one of the 30 to receive a manual gearbox! This one-owner car, in this very rare Vinaccia color with Beige interior, is an enthusiast car, one of the last manuals ever to come out of Maranello.
Dully serviced and in perfect condition, the car can be seen, on appointment only at Gipimotor (Evere - Belgium)
