Bearing the name of the favorite son of Enzo, the Dino was and still is an icon in the Ferrari history with its mid-rear mounted V6, it’s innovative approach for the end of the 1960s but also its timeless elegance. Sourcing it’s DNA into the 250LM, Formula 1 and 2 or even the Pininfarina design, the 246 GT will embodied a version of the Dolce Vita that is one of a kind.
Developed as a competitor to Porsche and unveiled in 1968, the Dino will be launched as soon as 1969. Produced at 2487 units in the GT version, it will be the first the first Ferrari in production to combine rear wheel drive and mid mounted engine. As agile as it was fast, it will charm the public that will make it the legend that it is now.
This exemplar in particular, chassis 02672, was delivered in 1972. Registered in May 1990 in the name of SRL Car Collection in Varese, it will be sourced in 2012, a few kilometers from Modena, with its previous owner, Mr Paolo Immovilli. Acquired in Italy by Gipimotor for it’s current owner the same year it will benefit from a check in our shop as soon as it arrived in the kingdom with 71332km and will be back with us in January 2013 with 72264km.
Completely serviced in November 2022 with only 74323km, 02672 will receive 4 new tires for its technical inspection. Having only done a bit more than 100km since, this matching number exemplar is ready to take the road again to live, once more, a different Dolce Vita.
The car can be seen in our HQ (Evere - Belgium) on appointment only
